Regional Center and MTP and School Services-Oh My!
This talk from pediatric physiatrist Kathryn E. Sigford, MD, will help pediatricians to make appropriate referrals and ensure the best for patients with a wide range of conditions, including autism, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, amputations and intellectual disabilities. Sigford explains which services are offered by three systems (regional centers, schools and the CCS Medical Therapy Program); clarifies who is eligible; and offer tips on helping families get all possible support, assistance and equipment.
