Pediatric Precision Cancer Medicine Program
The Precision Cancer Medicine Program at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals provides unparalleled expertise as one of the nation’s pre-eminent programs for advanced, molecularly focused pediatric cancer diagnosis and care. Comprehensive genomic testing is used to understand each patient’s cancer and to provide accurate diagnosis, assessment of inherited cancer risk and potential identification of novel therapies. We deliver personalized care for children, teens and young adults with any type of cancer, including rare and high-risk cancers. We are the only hospital in Northern California that is a member of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) Pediatric Early Phase Clinical Trials Network (PEP-CTN) – a group of institutions leading the way in developing new therapies for pediatric cancers. Our oncologists are leaders in national research groups dedicated to leukemias, neuroblastomas, liver tumors, sarcomas and brain tumors.
