Carleen Baldwin, who goes by Carly, is a physical therapist who helps patients recover from musculoskeletal injuries, including sports injuries. She has a special interest in caring for baseball players and other athletes in overhead sports. She is also a member of the UCSF team dedicated to helping athletes return to play safely after a concussion. In addition to caring for patients, she serves as the team lead for the Oakland campus and helps with staff development and other services. She also teaches the strength and conditioning course for UCSF's residency program in physical therapy.
After earning a bachelor's degree in exercise biology at the University of California, Davis, Baldwin earned her doctor of physical therapy degree at Western University of Health Sciences. She earned certification as an orthopedic specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. She is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
