Petra Steinbuchel, MD

Petra Steinbuchel MD, has provided clinical care at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland in the settings of general child and adolescent psychiatry in outpatient and school-based clinics with medically underserved populations and consultation-liaison psychiatry, as well as in outpatient integrated care models, in consultation to pediatricians.  

Dr. Steinbuchel completed her bachelor's in English and German at the College of William & Mary in 1994, her medical degree and an internship in pediatrics at the Medical College of Georgia in 2001, general psychiatry training at California Pacific Medical Center in 2005, and child and adolescent psychiatry training at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2007.

Dr. Steinbuchel is the CAPP Director.
